Important information for travelers traveling from Panipat to Delhi. Due to waterlogging and jam at Delhi ISBT, the operation of roadways buses has been stopped in Delhi on Thursday morning. The buses that left from Panipat Roadways Depot returned after dropping the passengers at Kundli border itself. Passengers were seen searching for private vehicles at the border. Not only this, now an announcement has been made from Sonipat Roadways Depot that there will be no bus operation for Delhi

Jam on iSBT due to waterlogging, buses returned after alighting passengers at Singhu-Kundli border

GM of Panipat Depot Kuldeep Jangra told that due to rain in Delhi there has been water-logging at many places. Vehicles are crawling on the roads due to jam on the main roads. The jam of vehicles near the Singhu border is also in a terrible situation. In view of the safety of the passengers, the buses are not being allowed to go beyond the Kundli border.

More than 16 routes of Uttar Pradesh also closed

Due to Kanwar Yatra, the operation of buses of Panipat Depot from Shamli route is closed. Roadways buses are currently not plying on Shamli, Kairana, Kandhla, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Najibabad, Kotdwar, Rudrapur, Kashipur, Moradabad, Amroha, Gajraula, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Bareilly, Badayu routes in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, more than 40 buses used to run on these routes including Panipat and other depots.

 

Some relief in Ambala, roadways going till Chandigarh

The water-logging situation in areas beyond Ambala is marginally under control. Roadways buses were sent to Chandigarh late on Wednesday evening after the water receded from the highway. Due to which the passengers breathed some relief. Till Wednesday afternoon, local roadways buses were plying only till Ambala. On the other hand, incidents of landslides are coming to the fore in the states of Jammu and Himachal Pradesh, due to which the operation of buses of Panipat depot has stopped in both the states
